Crispy chicken wings seasoned with baking powder and 'Any Reason' seasoning, grilled to perfection, and then tossed in a sweet, spicy, and tangy Tequila Lime Hot Honey Glaze.
For the Wings:
1. Season 2 lbs chicken wings (flats & drums) with 1 tbsp baking powder (for crispy skin) and generously with 'I cook you look Any Reason seasoning'.
2. Preferably use a kettle style grill with a vortex for intense heat.
3. Place seasoned wings around the perimeter of the grill.
4. Add a few chunks of seasoned wood for a nice smoky flavor.
5. Keep a close eye on the wings, as the grill will get hot quickly; flip them as needed.
6. Cook until an internal temperature of 200° is reached or until golden and crispy.
For the Tequila Lime Hot Honey Glaze:
1. In a saucepan, add 2 tbsp butter and ½ cup good blanco tequila.
2. Simmer for 3-5 minutes to cook off most of the alcohol.
3. Add ½ cup honey, juice of one lime, 1 tbsp 'Any reason seasoning' (BBQ seasoning in original text, assuming same brand), 2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust heat to your preference), and 1 tbsp minced garlic.
4. Simmer until the sauce is slightly thick and glossy.
To Finish:
5. Toss the crispy wings in the warm Glaze.
